Merill is a de facto social enterprise that brings together a number of farmers, breeders and artisans operating in the Maltese Islands. Our mission is empowering our members to diversify their income through sustainable rural tourism services,  envisioning a circular economy where tourism supports agriculture and traditions and vice versa. To reach our objectives, we carry out different actions and activities in order to: a) raise awareness about local agriculture; b) add value to farmers’ and artisans’ venues and products; c) bridge the gap between producers and consumers; d) revive traditions and keeping them alive through a form of tourism that is focused on the community.
